The hotel was under construction and renovations, but still super dated in Old. There was a smell of something cleaning agent or something to cover the smell in the room. The hallways were very dirty, looking and a lot of doors open to the room as we went through the hotel. People just kinda hanging out around the hotel at night. Wouldn’t suggest anybody staying there.

Great Stay at Presque Isle Inn! I recently stayed at the Presque Isle Inn and had a very good experience. The breakfast was especially good, fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Room okay, construction going on. Television terrible picture and channel selections. Breakfast was coffee and cold cereal or waffle.

8/10 Very good

The hotel is under new management and the new owners are very clearly making new improvements and it will be very pleasant place to stay. They were polite and accommodating for my request for some hand towels and a tea bag. The eating area for brunch is in the process of being updated and the Sports bar for dinner was noisey so we went to town and enjoyed a lovely meal.

Great stay overall! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even gave me a free airport pickup, which was perfect since transportation is pretty limited in the area. The internet was a bit slow for streaming Netflix and online gaming, but I had good cell phone reception so that helped. The hotel met all my needs, and I definitely recommend it to others visiting Presque Isle.

Hotel is being renovated so it was in pretty rough shape. Door broken, ceiling fixtures falling out, just overall alot needing to be fixed. Our room was very clean and beds are comfy. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was stocked good.

Overnight Oasis a

An overnight oasis for $90 bucks. The only thing is the free breakfast was cereal and frozen waffles but for the price I couldn’t be happier!

The room was clean and staff was pleasant. Our room was missing a hair dryer and one was delivered to us fairly quickly once we notified the front desk. It is an older facility and you can tell the new owners are working on it.

The property is being renovated so this review is being completed under that premise. The room was clean, large and updated, but some of the finish work in the room was subpar. The breakfast bar was not clean and there was very little to eat...no coffee. Someone in the room above us was making a lot of noise until 3:00am and when I told the man at the desk he seemed to know and said he had had previous complaints. The cleaning crew knocked on our door at 8:00am and then tried to enter the room when I did not answer (I was in the shower).

2/10 Poor

Great shower heads. Bed comfortable. Terrible signage. Ended up in the basement and laundry area looking for my room. Halls dirty and shabby. Six to eight stairs to get into the lobby and in the hall to get from one section of rooms to another. Hair in the drain and on the edge of the tub. Paint worn down to wood on the toilet seat. Sink scratched and faucet dirty.

The room itself was clean and up-to-date, but the hallways and exterior is still quite a work-in-progress. The bathroom needs updates. The tub handle was hard to turn on. It had to be pulled quite hard and wouldnt have been possible with people with arthritis or limited dexterity. The continental breakfast was in a dark room and not ideal, so hopefully that is improved with time. I did appreciate the key-less room entry and only having a code. That way we didnt have to carry around room keys. The pool itself was clean, but the lighting was poor and needs updates and the room it was in needs to be cleaned- lots of spiders in the window.

TV week or no signal. Window blinds don’t dry all the way kinda noisy.

I originally had a reservation at a nearby Hampton Inn, but unfortunately, they refused to honor my Hilton points, which was really disappointing. Frustrated and needing a place to stay, I ended up booking a room here instead—and honestly, I’m glad I did. I didn’t have high expectations going in, but this place really surprised me in the best way. The room was clean, spacious, and honestly better than what I’ve experienced at some bigger-name hotels. The pricing was also excellent—great value for what I got. Customer service was friendly and check-in was smooth. Overall, this turned out to be a great find and I’d definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Upon pulling into the property driveway, we immediately want to turn around and found a different hotel for the night, however, we'd prepaid for this one. Second, upon pulling into the property was wondering where the entrance was. Going up the worn, dingy stairs into the lobby felt eerie. The lobby felt dark and unwelcoming. The desk attend was okay - friendly and professional... But WHEN he asked me to fill out my credit card information (all of my CC information) for incidentals on a piece of paper, everything in my being shouted "NO!!!" I told him that, but he gently explained that that was how they have to do it... that they don't have any other way. I started to complete the form, but again the voice in my head shouted "NO!" I stopped & refused. I offered cash, but that wasn't acceptable. Finally, we agreed on me writing a note with my phone number on the other check-in form. ~ The room was clean, sufficient, and quiet (because there really weren't many other people staying there). The bed was comfortable. HOWEVER, the too small (width & length) didn't fully cover the window or shut out the light outside of it. Oh, and the view out of the window was a block wall of another building about 18 inches away. ~ We would absolutely NOT stay here again and recommend to anyone who asked to look elsewhere.

2/10 Poor

It was very dirty. Trash all through the hallways. The whole place reeked of cigarette smoke, I broke out in hives and couldn’t breath. Very loud we could hear everything going on around us in neighboring rooms and Hallway. and our room didn’t have a smoke detector, just a bracket where it once was. Falling apart furniture. We ended up having to leave and just abandoning our reservation.
Audrey, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Room was alright, but lobby and hallways were sketchy. Hotel had an odor, gym wasn’t open due to work needed, no one ever at desk, loud drunks in hall until 3:30am… Just a very sketchy and outdated hotel that would certainly not pass some health codes if they dig deep enough. Breakfast was cold and blah. Just overall not a great experience.

Hotels.com should have mentioned the construction going on. Also a bar & grill with a pool table us NOT fine dining. I was mislead on the everything. Will not be reusing Hotels.com
