Room was clean, and quiet at night (excellent to catch up on well needed sleep). But A/C was through large bulky portable unit; with attached enormous dryer like hose, taking up 1/4 of the free room space. It did keep the room nice and cool though. There was NO breakfast at the hotel AT ALL, eventhough it is advertised at hotels.com & expedia that there is breakfast included. You must walk outside hotel through busy traffic area to buy breakfast. "Dee" the operational manager & Grant and Ismael (front desk personnel) were very kind and helpful -even providing me with bottled spring water upon arrival. Definitely strong 3-STAR hotel; and for the price was worth the cost. Nice Stay.

We pre booked and I’m fighting for my money back. We pulled in the parking and immediately made a reso somewhere else. The photos on the listing do NOT look like the property. The building had chucks of concrete missing. The people hanging around the property was extremely sketchy and unwelcoming. Imagine paying for something and not even wanting to walk inside. Hotels.com or the hotel need to make this right.

The hotel is decent and reasonably priced. If possible, request a room with a low number (below 120, 220, or 320), as rooms farther back are closer to the Pacific Railway and the C-Train, which can be noisy. Fortunately, the air conditioning worked well, so I didn’t need to open the windows despite the noise. The hotel’s proximity to the C-Train is a major plus if you have business downtown—there’s a direct access door to the parking that leads the platform, making it just a quick 15-minute ride to the city center.

We would have liked face or wash cloths. We had our room made up twice, and they forgot the wash cloths! The second time we used our hand towels as face cloths. I loved the staff. I enjoyed the diversity of them!

Not a great experience. Check-in was inconvenient even though I paid through the app—they still asked for ID and credit card, and held the cash deposit for days. The elevator felt unsafe, and the unit wasn’t clean. No coffee maker, old furniture, and clearly the mattress hasn’t been changed in a long time. There are cheaper hotels nearby with much better quality. Definitely not coming back.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds instead we got a room with two double beds and a toilet that could double as a rocking chair, after talking to the front desk the where able to find us a room with one queen, and one double bed. The toilet felt less like it was going to come off the floor but there was a portable AC unit that was vented through the window, and blocked up by card board it looked like someone cut with a butter knife. No discount was offered and when asked about a lower rate due to the incorrect room they shrugged it off. Probably partially because of the poorly sealed window someone smoking outside the room made the who room smell like weed. When compared to the rest this is fairly minor, but the pool room was the temperature of the sauna, but the water temperature was slightly above ice cold. Definitely not staying there again.

The communication from this hotel was amazing. We had to have an early checkin, and they were quick to accomodate. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable . The location was close to everything. It was easy to get to. It is close to a train track, so you will get some noise, but it didnt bother us. We would stay here again.

Not what was expected, just absolutely dirty . Rooms are very gross and don’t really want to touch anything . Make shift a/c, tub very dirty. Hallways, stairs all full of dirt. Pool had sand and crud on the bottom . Clearly bought the the place and only there to make money not build it up to something nice

Ripple effect: The hotel was not accommodating to me for an early check-in and was going to charge me an additional $50. Same for a late check out. When I arrived at the hotel, it was a long check-in line. There is no elevator from the reception desk, you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Once I was in the elevator, another hotel, Guest showed their confusion when trying to find the reception desk. A confusing layout when the reception desk is on ground floor and the elevator takes you down to floor two and floor one which is also ground floor? It took me a long time to find the trolly in the morning. At check out, there was a line-up and, the hotel clerk took her attention off me to deal with a street person. Another hotel guest was requesting to change rooms due to a problem in their room. I will not book here again and with my kids sporting events we need to book in Calgary regularly. However, the bed was nice and the water pressure was nice.

The price was fair. Rooms and overall hotel rundown a little, but it’s reflected in the price. Restaurant closed, as were the vending machines and ice maker. We were looking for an inexpensive one night layover, and that’s what we got. So, can’t complain. Don’t be looking for a diamond in the ruff or hidden gem - this is not that. Owners have not spent money on this place in a long long time.

Overall clean, side doors not working were a bit of a hassle causing us to walk around the long building each time we went out. Would go back when in Calgary, great value for cost of room.
