I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn Salt Lake City Downtown with three colleagues during a work trip. We arrived around 3:00 AM after multiple flight delays and were looking forward to settling into a room that could accommodate all of us. While the night auditor was kind enough to assist us, the room conditions were very disappointing. The sofa bed mattress was stained, the ceiling was poorly patched, there was painter’s tape left on the toilet, a window pane was missing and covered with plywood, and the shower head was loose and seemed close to falling off. This was one of the worst properties I have ever stayed at.
