Concorde Sporthotel Burgdorf

I was on my way to somewhere else, so I stayed at the hotel. It's being slowly refurbished. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It could do with a sofa or something else, as the room is rather big for the contents. Breakfast is ok. It's nothing around there so one has to walk or drive into town if needed, but its safe and quiet. Haven't worked the Wifi out yet, apparently there is some. If you play Tennis, then you are at the right place. It suited me fine ( I don't play Tennis) and I shall use it again if I get a chance. People are very nice. The downside is, reception is closed after 20.00hrs, so everything has to be sorted before. Not a big deal I suppose. It is on an Industrial estate and buses run till saturday midday, none on sunday. To walk into Burgdorf is ok, it's about 3.5km. The town is nice and has a train station with direct connection to Hannover.

Just far out in the nowhere. No place or restaurant or anything to walk to. No 24 hr reception, I even had to struggle to get out in the morning to leave for my early flight out of Hannover. No services what so ever.
