Very pricey for a very budget stay. Don't plan on staying if you want sleep because it's highly likely you won't get any being right next to the pub. This property is quite worn out. Our room was at the rear so we could see and access our vehicle easily and the car park is behind a gated fence. The room itself was spacious, the bed was Very comfortable and the shower very spacious with excellent water pressure. Being at the rear we could not hear the hotel crowds. The hotel serves great dinners, esp Matsos Ginger Beer-battered fish. Breakfast is barely adequate but was enough for us. We had the sense that the staff (backpackers - lovely) may cop complaints regularly - not fair. Handy location to most of town.

Won’t return and don’t advise to stay.
