Very small hotel (but charming in its own right). Decent location tucked in a quiet neighborhood. 10 min walk to multiple tube lines. Staff is very sparse at this very small boutique hotel, more like a B&B. However, no WiFi for the duration of the stay, and initially no mention of this from the staff. Attitude about WiFi was basically, "yeah, sorry", with no information provided about alternatives. If you were here on business, it would have been a major problem, and for overseas travelers who cannot always count on decent mobile service, it was a major inconvenience.

We felt so welcome at Montagu Place. It was so convenient to get around on buses and metro but also was tucked away on quiet street. Room was so comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend! Has air conditioning which is rare in London. Also loved the breakfast. Will stay here again and again
