I chose this hotel because they advertised a free shuttle service, but upon arrival I was told I would need to take a taxi to the airport—completely contradicting what was offered. The environmental “resilience” fee was also surprisingly high at €8, while other hotels in the area charge under €2.
Airport pickup was poorly organized and required several phone calls before anyone arrived. The same person who drove me also checked me in, and he was neither pleasant nor helpful, especially with luggage.
The worst part came at 3:15 a.m., when I was preparing to leave. The door shut behind me while I stepped out to make coffee, locking my key card inside the room. I called the emergency line multiple times, but no one answered. With no staff on-site, I had to figure out how to open a neighboring door, climb through a window, and get back into my room just to retrieve my bags.
It’s frightening to imagine what might happen in an actual medical or safety emergency when no staff is available to respond.
Overall, this hotel failed on every basic level of service and safety. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
