Room was typically European in that it was small and the AC wasn't fantastic, but otherwise it was perfectly pleasant and great just for sleeping at night or an afternoon nap. It's located literally right on the grand canal which was beautiful and no more than a 30 minute walk from anything you could want to see. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and we would gladly stay here again if/when we come back. It's maybe a 10-15 minute walk from the closest water taxi stop so very easy to reach. My advice is pack very lightly on the bags because there are no automobiles in Venice, it's all water taxis, so a lot of walking. Lots of stairs and narrow alleys so the city isn't very accessible if you need specific accommodations, but if that's not an issue for you, you will love staying here and enjoy every aspect of this city. Bellissimo!
