Avoid at all cost!

The hotel was horrible! But what do you expect for CHEAP! Going in and out is a hassle as the main door is locked and you need to wait for security to open it to exit, and coming back hope she is there to open it or you have to wait. When they do open it for you either in our out it’s like they are doing you a favor and the facial gestures are very unpleasant. The receptionist lady is terrible very cocky and totally rude attitude again like they are doing you a favor! The room A/C didn’t work very well it was told to them and did nothing about it, the lamp bedside light had to be unplug because i was shocked several times. The only thing good about this place is the location! It’s close to everything in centro historico. Don’t listen to YouTuber Tropical Pao who is a Salvadorean YouTuber who was obviously paid to give that place God send reviews. The hotel location is perfect for the noisiest location as it’s located right in front of the local market. Hot water wait for it, it comes out eventually! If you can dodge this place and afford the Cadedeu which is located in the heart of centro historico it’s best you do that! People are more friendly and actually appreciate having a job! Can this place shape up absolutely with the right staff and better door service and room maintenance! Again don’t believe anything YouTuber Tropical Pao says because it’s obvious she is paid for a BS astonishing review from establishments and hotels. Ah also found a cockroach in the bed lining !

ENGLISH: Hotel Abrego is very well located in the center of San Salvador's historic district. It is in a safe area just two blocks from the cathedral, national palace and national library. Many dining and shopping options within a five minute walk. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and there is a good internet signal. It was nice to have a balcony to see the people on the street though it might be a little noisy at times. The staff is very nice. A bit of advise, when you arrive for the first time, there is no hotel sign but you must wait at the iron gate if the attendant is not there but it is a very short wait. ESPAÑOL: El Hotel Abrego está muy bien ubicado en el centro del distrito histórico de San Salvador. Está en una zona segura a sólo dos cuadras de la catedral, palacio nacional y biblioteca nacional. Muchas opciones para comer y hacer compras a cinco minutos a pie. Las habitaciones son limpias, la cama es cómoda y hay buena señal de internet. Fue agradable tener un balcón para ver a la gente en la calle, aunque a veces puede ser un poco ruidoso. El personal es muy agradable. Un pequeño consejo, cuando llegas por primera vez, no hay ningún cartel del hotel pero debes esperar en la puerta de hierro si el encargado no está pero es una espera muy corta.

The Hotel is safe clean and the location is amazing. We walked to the civic center and it took us less than 5 minutes Everyone was so helpful Aleida was amazing she was always ready to help us giving us directions.Helen was great as well and Delmi clean our room and left it impecable. The parking lot is like 7 minutes away but it was secure. during the day you can hear a lot of noise from the cars and vendor's but again you are staying in the center of San Salvador. But for sure we will stay here again Thanks for making our stayed more comfortable.
