We really enjoyed staying at the Blue Elk. Our room was spacious, up to date , quiet, & clean. Being off the main street through town was so nice & very quiet, & the location is a convenient 15 minute walk to downtown restaurants & breweries. The pool was bigger than most hotel pools & was heated to a comfortable temperature... The hot tub was usable, be not in good condition, & the outdoor sauna was great. Breakfast was much better than average for hotel breakfasts. We would definitely stay here again!

Went to the Celtic festival in April, brought the dogs. They not only allowed pets, their price was right on point(others could take a lesson from the Blue Elk on this issue.). The room was roomy and comfortable and quiet.

It was a great place for our family of 6. The suite was a perfect little “apartment like” room. It had a small kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms with plenty of space. The grounds were well kept and the breakfast was very good!
