there where roaches, body paint and glitter on the walls and floor. there where frantic writings on the wall in permanent marker. we where in and out of the room in under 5 minutes and where not given a full refund. do not stay here unless you are ok with these things

OMG! Stay away if you value your life. The first hint that this place was unfit for human habitation should have been the junkie out front slumped against the wall. But it was 3 am after driving for hours and hours and we needed to sleep. Then, walking into the lobby, there was a small cabinet with a coffee thermos and a few cups across the institutionally lit tiled room from the completely enclosed (the whole counter was enclosed to the 9 foot ceiling) check in counter. The skinny brown young man behind the counter as he handed me the key I swear sounded like “Please don’t hurt me, mister.” The elevator worked and delivered us to the 3rd floor demoing us out into a trash littered hallway where we were serenaded by a passionate couple of meth addicts passionately something in a language that can only be understood while tweaking. Barricaded in our room, we stripped the soiled blanket of the bed, checked for bedbugs, and turned on Dateline not only to drown out the hallway drama but to give us hope that if we were murdered, forensic science would catch our killers. We lived. Will you?
