The hotel overall was in a nice location due to the fact we could walk across the street and the beach was right there. The only thing I was disappointed with is the fact we couldn't watch TV the entire time because the wireless service never worked. The signal was absolutely horrible.

This is a bare minimum room. The way the bathroom has been redone is nice, but there is no shelf or anything to put your shower essentials on while in the shower. There was only one small trash in the whole room. No dresser to put any of your clothes in, nor was there any luggage racks to put your suitcase on either. The bed was very low to the ground as well. It has a small frig and a microwave. It was clean though.

Valerie (Front desk) is an excellent person to represent your hotel. She is always very pleasant and helpful. We found the room to be very clean. We are in our 70's and found the mattresses a bit too “bouncy” and the lack of an elevator a minor inconvenience. The hotel is at an excellent location, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops all within easy walking distance. Overall, our stay at 5th & Ocean was very present and will consider returning.

They were great start to finish. The lady at the desk was professiinal and people friendly quite pleasing.

The hotel overall wasn’t too bad but it definitely wasn’t great either. We never had parking because people from other places parked without any consequence. People were smoking Marijuana and cigarettes everywhere. The pool was layered with a nasty film on top and bugs and leaves at the bottom. Probably would give it 3/10 rating.

The photo shown IS NOT what you will be expecting. As advertised they offer wifi (we were not provided any information to connect). As advertised digital tv service was not connected. The toilet seat was broken, the remote control had no batteries and when asked to provide batteries it took over 45 minutes for them to get us batteries only to find out there was NO service on the TV. The room was infested with flies and bugs, the floors were hard floors and were absolutely filthy. I checked in at 4pm and it was so bad I checked out at 10pm the same night. I was not offered a room change or any refund. DO NOT stay here!

The hotel is right on the Strand, across the street from the ocean side. The door to the room was too small for the opening, so that you could see light all around the door, and you could hear the noise from the Strand, all the cars and motorcycles with no mufflers or those really loud mufflers. Because my room was located next to the laundry/supply room, the employees stood outside and had loud conversations early in the morning. Some time during our last night, we heard what sounded like gunshots at 4 in the morning. We left a day early.
