This is as a great place to stay for our first trip to Japan. A proper 3 star hotel with all needed amenities and very professional and courteous staff. We liked that they had linen available in the lobby for us to grab as needed and umbrella’s available for when it rained. It was also close to an Anytime Fitness, so be sure to bring your fob if you are a member. The only challenge was the room was very small, but we got used to it and made it work. Small rooms are the norm here but as an American, it was an adjustment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe, quiet and comfortable stay in the Shinjuku area.

The staff was very helpful and kind. We accidentally booked a “smoking” room so I cannot fault them for that, but the hotel room floor felt dirty and areas of the carpet were torn.
