Great hotel. Comfy beds, soft linens, great amount of room and clean. Good breakfast, nice staff, This will be my go to hotel for staying in this area. The lodges in the area are great but more pricey, this is a decent price in comparison with the resort lodges but a bit much for a traditional hotel. It’s a lot nicer than the other hotels around it though so for the few extra dollars it was definitely worth it.

Didn’t see anything to complain about. Attendant gave us a nice room in a quiet corner of the building. The traffic might bother you if you are a light sleeper but it’s fine for me. Room was clean as any I’ve been in. Doesn’t look dated as some do. Not planning to use any amenities- just need to sleep and shower. So far so good. Was a little pricier than others, but not outrageous.

A few improvements needed, but still a great stay

Overall, the hotel was a great place to stay while visiting the nearby state parks. The hotel was clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly. A few areas that could use improvement - the pancake machine was not working at breakfast and the hot foods were not getting replaced timely even though there was 45 minutes before breakfast ended. Secondly, while the hot tub was hot, the jets were not working. We were really looking forward to a soak after a day of hiking in the rain. Also, there was a foul odor in the hallway (2nd floor). It was not noticeable once we were inside the room, but could smell it immediately once we got to the floor.
