Easy to check in, location and quirky accom cabin.

Staying in an old passenger bus, beautifully renovated for accomodation. An absolute joy to wake up looking out the back window to see a flock of corellas, ducks, etc on a natural river.

Very nice place, I was happy, so were the staff, locals and beautiful things to see only 20 min down the road.

I loved it here so much that I extended my stay. A lovely and quiet location on a lake, very helpful and friendly staff and for an amazing price. I highly recommend staying here
Rebecca, 7-night trip

6/10 Good

We recently stayed in one of the bus motor homes, and overall, it was a lovely and peaceful experience. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, especially with the lake nearby — it’s such a relaxing spot. The staff were amazing and provided excellent customer service — very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The main room in the bus was exceptional, with clean linen, fresh towels, and a comfortable setup. However, the bunk beds were a bit disappointing — the sheets and doonas were quite dirty, which took away from the otherwise great experience. I’d suggest that the hotel only provide clean mattress protectors and fitted sheets by default, and if guests need extra linen, they can request it from reception. There were also a few cobwebs in the bus that could use some attention. Despite those small issues, it’s a beautiful and peaceful place overall, and I would still recommend it for a unique and relaxing stay.

Loved the quirky caravan. A shame that the ground was so dusty. Unfortunately we walk it into the caravan on the carpet. I missed not being able to park closer to our accommodation.
Lynn, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Stayed one night with family visiting from overseas. Comfy beds and pillows, and pleasant environment overall. However, inside the cabin could do with some cleaning, we could see hair and stain on the kitchen floor and sticky dining table on arrival. Old dining chairs, broken lamp, no WiFi, no toilet paper and bin bags.

2/10 Poor

Air con was on and windows open when we arrived on a cold winters night , when we turned the heater on it was soooo loud

You get what you pay for. There was only 1 coffee cup, top bunk was difficult to use due to height of mattress. Hot water ran for two minutes and then freezing cold, so no hot showers for us. Bottom Kitchen cupboards need a good clean/resurface.
Jenni, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The cabin was not clean! Sock under table, dog toys under bed, large amount of dark brown hair in doorway and large amount of cobwebs on window sill!
Jill, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We stayed in one of the shipping container units. Was an interesting experience! We loved the queen bed bunk beds- very creative use of space! Future visitors may be interested to note that the toilet is completely black in a black room. So it was hard to see! Also the shower has no lighting over it, so you shower in the shadows. Otherwise, the whole park is lovely and peaceful. I'd recommend staying here, especially if you like industrial decor!
Shelley, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great value, was able to check-in late (after 9pm) but check with staff first. Bed in cabin was very firm but I didn't expect a hotel bed anyway so no worries. Cabin lost power in one evening and I had staff remedy the next day which was just its power cord had come loose.
3-night trip

6/10 Good

Hammervan very hot, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so everything fogged up, building site happening at the time so no privacy with work man walking around your van & found the manager to be rude, taking photo of my dog, as other dogs had killed wildlife before don’t put my dog in that category, lovely Irish girls there though .
7-night trip

2/10 Poor

The place is a Dump.

My Stay at this place was absolutely terrible as i booked a cabin and they put me up in a caravan with 2 lamps to see with and no lighting to shower with and with the hot weather they had a portable air conditioner which was not cooling the area of the van. Also no television as you pay good money to stay there, i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Brett, 10-night trip

8/10 Very good

Not a fan of TV that doesn't format HD channels. Cabin 30.
Peter, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

Never again

We stayed in a budget cabin which i would expect furnishings to be cheap which they definitely were but there is budget then there is down right trash .The bed was so old it had springs poking out , we had to put our own camping mattress's on top, the window frames were all rotting and the walls were all cracked, power points hanging from the wall down right dangerous, and don't even get me started on how dirty it was cutlery had food on it bugs and dead flys on plates pillows were grossly stained .Its all good spending a tone of money on new cabins but i think the ones they are hiring need alot of TLC The only thing good about our stay was the huge Towels after a really bad shower
Stephen, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice enough to stay. We stayed in a bus which was exciting as it was different but wouldn’t have wanted to stay in it longer than what we did. There is little privacy - don’t shower at night as the neighbours will see you through the window- I realised this after the fact :( shower in the dark people lol There is only Half a curtain at the front of the bus, so ppl outside can see alllll the way down your bus. It needed a good dust in the bus. And the 2 heaters that were in it only just took the chill out of the air, they didn’t warm the bus up- it was still cold in bus. You can only use a certain amount of power at once otherwise it cuts out. Wasn’t a huge deal, but if I had of known about these things I probably would have went for a more private caravan or unit. But we still enjoyed our stay, the kids loved the bus so that was the main thing. The park has good facilities and a nice water area with ducks to relax at. Staff friendly.
