I can't imagine a better hotel choice for visiting Healdsburg! Location couldn't be better, the rooms are spacious and well appointed and the wine & cheese each evening and breakfast each morning are definitely over and above. We can easily walk to many great restaurants and shops. The only possible drawback is lack of a dedicated parking area but there are several lots nearby as well as street parking, so even that is manageable. It's the tradeoff for being right on the square, and I'd take that any day!

Charming restored older property on the town plaza

Charming property in a restored old building in the center of town, right on the plaza. Room was spacious with a nice couch for hanging out. There was a complimentary “happy hour” with snacks and wine in the afternoon, a nice touch. There are several restaurants and winery tasting rooms within a short walk. Only slight negative was that the staff, while very friendly and helpful, didn’t always seem knowledgeable about the area and (for example) had difficulty connecting a phone call to the room.
