Close to Duomo, very nicely decorated, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Only thing that we didn’t love was the air conditioning didn’t work very well and the room was a bit too warm for a truly relaxing sleep.

Glimpse Hotel is in an excellent location—walking distance to all the main sights, making it ideal for first-time visitors. The central setting does mean it can be noisy, but that’s expected in such a vibrant area. The service was outstanding—staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and quality. A few drawbacks to note: the mattress wasn’t very comfortable, the shower is inside a high bathtub which can be difficult to get in and out, and there’s no real lobby area to relax. Overall, a great base for exploring Florence.

Fantastic check-in for road weary travelers!

Check in was great. We arrived early to Florence from Venice and instead of citing check-in and arrival policy, the staff worked hard to get our room ready. They made us feel welcome, provided food and other amenities to make us comfortable. The staff is very friendly and courteous.

My husband and another couple started at this boutique hotel which we found so adorable. The staff is very friendly the rooms are not very big but beds are super comfy. The breakfast was excellent. The best is that it’s super walkable to restaurants and many sightseeing locations. They offer valet parking for an extra fee which is definitely needed if you have a car! We never stayed at a boutique hotel but this one we all loved!

Absolutely amazing: brilliant hospitality!

I can honestly say that the service, welcome and friendliness was unequalled. The folks arranged that the cat was valet parked and returned when ended, we received a delightful welcome including a glass of Prosecco, and the room, breakfast and service were impeccable. Top notch!

Marta and her staff were perfecto! They were professionals when it came to hospitality. The hotel is small and quaint but that is to its advantage. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff - led by Marta - were always available to offer tips and directions. And Yulia behind the bar was ready with a drink or a coffee whenever you needed one. I recommend staying at the Glimpse (which I assume is named because you can get a glimpse of the Duomo just a short distance away) anytime you’re in Florence.

Nice but a bit tight

The style of the hotel was really nice but the room we had was too small for two people with more than one suitcase. There was very little space to lay out our luggage, so we were jumping over our suitcases as we didn’t want to unpack since we were only staying one night. Also the single corner sink in the bathroom was crazy small with nowhere to put toiletries at all. A small shelving unit next to the sink would be sensible. The shower looked nice but was very narrow and tight. Not good for larger people. Breakfast was excellent! Location was very central and convenient Also, thr AC wasn’t cold enough for July heat. Having a car was tricky as Florence has restrictions to enter the city centre so one needs to discuss with hotel for options…

We had a wonderful Four- night stay at the Glimpse Hotel starting with the check in.  We were warmly, greeted and welcomed by Alina at the front desk.  She took her time to explain all the hotel's amenities and important information. Also, the staff greeted us every time we exited and entered the hotel. That made us feel welcome. I also, want to give a special note of gratitude to the staff working in the breakfast dining area. They provided excellent service with a smile. This hotel makes the breakfast to order, which is great and they have something for everyone's taste. Finally, a special thank you to the ladies doing house keeping, they did an impeccable job with the upkeep of the room. They are very efficient and pay a lot of attention to detail. Even though this job is not easy, they still manage to keep a smile on her face at all times. The room was a good size, the bathroom was big with plenty of space for storing all your personal toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciate the extra memory foam topper. It made the mattress extra comfortable. All in all, we had an excellent stay at The Glimpse hotel. Keep up the great customer service and hospitality!

Room was very well done. Very comfortable king bed. It was clean, quiet, and quaint. Walking distance from everything. All my wife and did was walk around and we enjoyed every moment. Staff and concierge were extremely helpful and accommodating - it was perhaps the best part of the hotel. They never said no. I will definitly come back here when I revisit.

I had to check in late on a sunday night, and I was a bit worried about how it would go, but the experience was fantastic from the moment I arrived. There was someone at the front desk ready to greet me, which was such a relief after a long day of travel. To top it off, they offered me complimentary champagne at check-in—a wonderful touch that made me feel welcome right away! The staff also arranged a late checkout for me, which was incredibly helpful and allowed me to enjoy my stay without feeling rushed. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the little extras really made a difference. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back! Location is perfect as well!

Wonderful experience! Very nice hotel, with great staff! Ovidio was just amazing, he welcomed us, showed us everything we needed to know about Florence on the map, got us reservations for a guided tour of the Acadamia, made dinner reservations, and was so very helpful. At breakfast, Yulia was so nice and friendly. All the staff were helpful, but these two were just exceptional!! The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, updated, walkable to most everything in Florence, and not on an overly crowded street. We would definatley recommend and hope to return.
