The hotel has a lot of potential but unfortunately it managed poorly. The good: clean, amazing and polite staff, close to the airport, parking. The spa is really nice and good The bad (long list) Food - items are marked incorrectly in terms of allergies(for example, lasagna with cheese marked as vegan). Pool - there are a few large pools but not enough chairs. Many people wake up at 6am to reserve a chair Pool - there is a big pool but half of it is closed and there are inflatables but you need to make a reservation to use it. When I was there, there was no availability even though I tried every day. Also the pool is so big, it is not clear why there is only one inflatable. Pool - it is all inclusive but there are no toys such as balls or anything else for the kids to play with Restaurants - there are multiple restaurants in the hotel which are part of the all inclusive. You need to make a reservation to dine in. There was no availability for any of them during my one week stay. So the restaurants exist but unusable Activities - there was a really short list of activities (especially for kids or teenagers). The expectation was that you will drop off your kids at the kids center but it was more for toddlers. Overall, there is a lot of potential to provide nice activities but none was available. I would not return to AVA.

The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went during spring break so it was quite busy and hard to find a pool chair. Resos need to be booked before your stay and the app is not the greatest. The pools were really nice and the kiddie pool has a lot of slides. Lots of entertainment within the resort as well - shows, games, arcade, and bowling.

This was my second visit to Cancun, and I enjoyed AVA Resort much more than the resort I stayed at on my previous trip. One of the best features is that all rooms have an ocean view, which was absolutely beautiful. During our four-night stay, I watched the sunrise every morning, which made the trip even more special. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and both the welcome and departure processes were smooth and well organized. The food was generally good, although the salad selection was a bit limited. The omelet chef at the breakfast buffet was especially friendly and memorable. The drinks, ice cream, and desserts were excellent. The resort offers many pool options for all ages, and we especially enjoyed kayaking. I also appreciated that staff regularly came around the pool to take food and drink orders, which made everything very convenient. The Kids Club was great, offering a variety of activities and water play. My child spent about four hours there, which gave me some relaxing time. There was also evening entertainment every day, including a kids’ show at 7 pm and a show for all guests at 9 pm. The clown show for kids and the American pop singer tribute show were both very entertaining. One small downside was that the return-guest sales offer was presented twice, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, some activities like the arcade and laser tag require extra payment. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

O resort é 10 de 10 em tudo: espaço, atendimento e estrutura. O atendimento é simplesmente surreal. A alimentação tem muita variedade, com restaurantes temáticos excelentes e incríveis. A comida é muito saborosa e tudo é extremamente limpo e organizado. Também tivemos uma concierge brasileira que nos orientou em tudo. Foi uma experiência incrível!

El hotel tiene dos años operando, yo pagué un Upgrade, que me resultó fantástico, la habitación, espectacular, la comida es espectacular, visité poco los buffets, sólo una ocasión, ya que el área de piscinas tiene comida riquísima, los restaurantes de la piscina deliciosos, la comida de los restaurantes en la noche, es rica, el italiano es fantástico, la atención al cliente y en las habitaciones súper bien, por mucho se lleva a muchos Resorts de Cancun, incluso me gustó más que el Mayakoba. Ahora bien, no, todo es excelente, recomiendo que a tu llegada te dirijas directamente a hacer checking en el mostrador, se aparecerán personas que dicen ser del Hotel, pero si bien trabajan para el mismo grupo, representan a otra empresa, te invitan a un desayuno, te ofrecen 1 hora en el boliche, masajes en el spa, $500 dólares para ser aplicados en el hotel, solo para llevarte a vender no durante 1 hora, sino por más de 4, es una membresía que cuesta entre 300,000 y 500,000 pesos para visitar no ese hotel, sino los Hard Rock, a mí me secuestraron, por así decirlo, tuve que pagar $8,900 para que me dejaran salir, pero niégate al desayuno y diles NO GRACIAS! Te tratan de maravilla pero si no les compras uy la que te espera… Mejor disfruta del Hotel y no pierdas tiempo, te arrepientes si lo haces, en mi caso no me dieron nada de lo que me ofrecieron, y de nada valió mi tiempo perdido en el Hotel. Así que advertido estás, hotel maravilloso, pero mal esos vendedores de membresías.

The transportation service was unacceptable. We were forced to wait at the airport for an extended period, even though I had pre-arranged and paid for the VIP transportation service. This service was triple the cost of an Uber Black, yet it failed to provide even the most basic level of punctuality and professionalism
