I am totally in love with this hotel, will definitely come back when we go to Kyoto. It’s new and cute, convenient to train station and restaurants. Village Kyoto is a fantastic hotel that easily accommodated our big family of seven. The staff were absolutely wonderful—so kind, pleasant, and helpful throughout our stay. After long days of sightseeing, the onsen bath was a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate our tired bodies. Each morning, a delicious bento breakfast was delivered straight to our room, which made mornings easy and enjoyable. The kids especially loved the free ice cream available in the lobby, and the complimentary sake tasting was a nice touch for the adults. We also appreciated the matcha tea provided in the room—such a thoughtful detail. The location couldn’t be better—just a 2-minute walk to the subway, which made getting around Kyoto incredibly convenient. Front desk - high marks for Nakano. She was excellent. Overall: 5/5. Highly recommended for families or groups visiting Kyoto!
