The location shown on Orbitz's site was not correct. One should probably use "A-Un" on the Google Map when in Kyoto. It took us a while to find the correct location. The check-in was self-service via tablet, but that was not convenient. We had to upload documents, but somehow the website did not correctly receive everything, causing some problems at the check-in. But the room itself was clean and not too small for a group of five people. There is a washing machine, and the bathroom can be used for drying clothes. The location is close to a bus stop and to a metro station (red line) and within 15 mins walk to a train station (Keihan line). Without the initial hiccups of finding the place and checking in, I would have rated the place higher.

We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed this place. The location is great—about a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, with just two stops to the Ninenzaka/Sannenzaka area. There’s also a train/subway station about 5 minutes away with easy access to Osaka. We were able to walk to all our restaurants around the Nishiki Market area. The neighborhood is very quiet, with little traffic and even a temple right next door, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. The room was excellent, with plenty of space for the four of us (2 adults and 2 children). We each had our own bed, and they were some of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The bathroom was spacious, with both a shower and a bathtub, and everything was clean and well maintained. There is also a furnished kitchen (which we didn’t use), but having a fridge was very convenient. Access was simple with an easy code entry to the room.
