This was a fabulous hotel! Check-in was smooth & quick! We were gifted complimentary bottles of water for our stay. Room was clean, bright and decent size for our 2 queen beds. Location was awesome. It was nestles in a walkable area with shops & restaurants.

Our stay was very nice. Only a confusing incident. The house staff asked us at our room door if we wanted the room to be refreashed and made up. We said yes. We were gone for the day. We returned to find nothing was done. Beds were unmade and no fresh towels. Breakfasts were nice and staff was very helpful.

Our room didn’t have electricity on one entire wall. We told the front desk clerk and she said she would take care of it while we were out for the evening. It wasn’t taken care of and when I went up to talk to the night shift clerk, she disappeared into a room and closed the door. I waited for 5 minutes and she never returned.

Manager missed customer service class.

My stay occurred during the nationwide computer glitch which caused them to have no room key access. They had to walk us to our rooms to unlock them every time we left the room. We understood that this wasn’t their fault and took it in stride. Then they had no milk or syrup on the breakfast buffet. Upon checkout I suggested to them that they should have run to the grocery store for milk and syrup to keep their already upset guests appeased. The manager became verbally abusive towards me. Everyone else on staff was lovely and helpful. She should be fired. I would have stayed there again up until that point. She should not work in customer service. I will never stay there again.

We only had the breakfast buffet one morning prior to heading out to the Iowa State Fair, but it was a great variety and delicious! Room was very spacious and beds comfortable. Price was great & we will definitely be booking here again!
