Great motel , will definitely stay here again when in the area
Dale, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean and affordable.

Nice little motel. Nice area. Easy access on the south side of town. Restaurants nearby. Would visit again. All transactions are through text, as there is no attendant on site, but they come through with a quick response. All in all, a good experience.

Karla was great, room was clean had a hot tub we weren't expecting ( and we used ). Bed was a little hard, and lot's of trains. I'm a heavy sleeper so didn't bother me much. Would stay again

Bedbugs July 2025

A quick nights sleep on July 25, 2025 and today we visited a doctor about bites. Yep, bedbugs. Oh yeah, the deadbolt didn’t work either.

Really nice hotel
JOEY, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

No one on site, three parties calling and waiting for a response, codes to rooms were easy to figure out. So, if someone sketchy wanted to they could easily get in while you were out. Fridge was loud. Rooms were very small. Wanted to check with front desk the morning before we left for a physical receipt, no one was there and we left at 850.

very good value, nice, clean, would stay there again
Paul, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Was clean. AC was good, bed was comfortable, little fridge had complimentary water bottles. Could plug in my hybrid car to 110v outlet. Staff was pleasant and helpful, but not on site after 3pm. Appeared to have been recently renovated with laminate floor(loose in spots), paint on old wood, and some new basic fixtures. Bed was not secured and moved easily, bathroom needs a towel bar, and a hook on back of door. Keyless entry did not work, used a single key to enter. Blinds let in too much light and did not provide privacy; needs draperies. Railroad noise was quite noticeable.

The host was so friendly and helpful. The room looked newly painted and decorated. The bed was amazing. I would stay there again in a hearbeat.

Its like an old fashioned motel but updated rooms. The rooms were simple & very clean. Very friendly staff. Easy to get to.
Rachelle, 1-night trip

Older motel with no frills. I like the price of this motel, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Perfect for a Train enthusiast. Not ideal for light sleepers.
Jason, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice stay.

Newly remodeled room, clean, basic room. There was no daily room service (like make beds, new towels), which was fine with us (and eco-friendly). We stayed two nights. The train tracks are not far away, so we could hear the trains go by during the night, but it wasn't bad because they don't blow their horns after 10 PM.

While the rooms are a bit small (15 X 12 estimate) the room is laid out very efficiently and effectively. With the focus on efficiency and practicality, while there is a main office, if you arrive after hours, you will texted or can call the posted number to get the 4 digit door code to enter your room. No long check in process, if you paid for your room, since it is a Motel, you can pull right up outside your rented room, and with a door code, get right in and unload. There is a convenient dorm size mini-refrigerator, a small desk with two nice chairs, ample lighting that is easily accessible. Very effective and quiet Mini-Split A/C and heating unit gets the room to a comfortable temperate very quickly. Multiple outlets with easy access in the room. Nice sized wall mounted TV with remote and free W-Fi. Small standup shower, toilet and vanity in the bathroom, again, small but functional and efficient use of space. The room had recently been remodeled, so all the flooring, walls and trim were modern and up to date. Room service comes once a day and will replace towels and empty your trash and do the basic tidy up. Without a standard motel/hotel check in area, they do not offer coffee or breakfast. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and driving distance of a minute or two, as this motel is on one of the main business areas in the downtown area. The only other downside is, there is a train track right across the street, and it does go by often

Bed bugs

Not much for exterior lighting, so you have to be watching for it or you will miss it if you come at night. No on-site staff, so you have to call a number to check in, you are given a code for the door and have to give your credit card over the phone. At first glance the room looked clean, but smelled a little musty, I was able to open the windows in the room to get some air flow in to air it out. Laying in bed the first night, I saw something move on the blanket in my periphery. It was dark & small, I incorrectly assumed it was a Japanese beetle and absent-mindedly swatted it off the bed. When I awoke the morning I was checking out with bites on my hand, arm & leg, I figured out it was a bedbug. I’m hoping I cleaned my clothing and bags wells enough to not bring any home with me. Be sure to check your mattress, bed frame and bedding thoroughly as you are checking in.
