Well, after we checked in at midnight, everything seemed to be pretty pleasant. But this morning at daylight, I realized the parking lot and surrounding area is not very inviting. There’s absolutely no place if you have a pet for them to relieve themselves because there is no zero grass only concrete and pavement.

The front desk certainly goes out of their way to accomodate you into a room that is comfortable. Initially, we walked into a room where the smoke alarm was making a chirping noise ever few minutes. The front desk more than happily assigned us to an alternate room. From there, the only issue that really existed was that it looked like the tub in the bathroom had a stain impregnated within the fiberglass of it. I don't think it was "wrong" per se, but it made it look like a defect. Overall, this is a 2.9 star hotel doing its very best to remodel itself closely to a 4 or 5 star hotel. For that effort, I give it a 5 star review. The front desk really did do a great job, and I'd recommend anyone stay at this hotel. Granted, you get what you pay for, and if you're wanting 4 to 5 star quality, this may not be it, but it's not because they don't try to accomodate you as best they can. It's a solid option to put your head down at night and to take a shower. Good in that they are dog friendly too.

The property is located slightly off the beaten path, with the office situated in a separate area. While the rate of $85 per night is affordable and appreciated, the condition of the room left much to be desired. Upon entering, there was a very strong and persistent odor of cigarette smoke throughout the space. The smell appeared to be deeply embedded, rather than something that could be easily aired out. Additionally, there were visible burn marks along the sides of the bathtub, suggesting prior indoor smoking and a lack of thorough maintenance. While I understand the pricing reflects a more budget-friendly stay, the cleanliness and air quality significantly impacted the overall experience. I was fortunate to have air freshener on hand, but it did little to fully address the issue. With improved cleaning and attention to odor removal, this property could offer a much better experience for guests.
