Fig Tree Shanklin is well located with the scenic spots including Old Village, Shanklin Chine, beach, high street within walking distance. A number of good restaurants are easily reachable. The facility itself is newly refurbished, neat and clean, stylish and dog friendly. The guest room is spacious with balcony and lookout to the sea. The staff are nice and very helpful. The room rate comes with semi-buffet breakfast. It’s good for value indeed. Most importantly, my accommodation and ferry ticket discount requests were fully attended to. We together with my doggie had pleasant staying experience. I highly recommend Fig Tree Shanklin.

Had a great stay at the Fig Tree, Lucas and Heather were really helpful, we needed to have oxygen delivered for my husband which was no problem, unfortunately the TV wasn’t working but they immediately moved us into a better room and were very accommodating, the breakfast was excellent and I would definitely visit again

Great hotel and location - the staff were amazing (Lucas at the bar in the evening ) breakfast team - BUT as we said whilst there - we had a premium room on the front room 12 (amazing location) yet we had a light missing (left side of bed as you look at the bed) and a led light in the bathroom above the mirror - we had an amazing time and as business owner I know home challenging things can be and i want you to succeed so we can visit again Please do one thing - train your staff (I know that is also a challenge) to do the basics better and we will be back We wish you a happy a successful summer

Perfectly nice hotel. Room was nice and clean. Public areas look lovely and breakfast was fine but with limited seating in the bar and no drinks outside after 9pm when there is entertainment it is not conducive to a nice evening unfortunately. Otherwise the hotel is absolutely fine.
