Very nice stay

The hotel was fine. The staff were extremely professional. (Even when they had to help us at midnight with a new key). My only issue with Gateway was the water pressure. Everything else was spot on

Conveniently located on a major suburban street; close to shopping, local eateries and train station; cozy and quaint decor added to comfortable atmosphere in a spacious room; great seating with chairs, a chaise; refrigerator and microwave; would have preferred brighter overhead light; curtains did not block out all outdoor light; breakfast was sparse with only coffee and waffle maker; internet connection was good on laptop computer but spotty on mobile devices

Other residents were outside talking on speakerphone and had their televisions on until 2 am. Didn't seem there were quite hours and we really needed the sleep before our flight at 5 am out of Midway.

Glad we came

Desk clerk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the attention to detail in the rooms furnishings to maximize comfort. We were in town for a funeral and this was just the kind of hospitality that we needed. We'll remember this place very positively.

Wasn’t expecting much given the location and price. It was mediocre. Walls are paper thin. Was able to hear conversations and other activities…. in room next to ours. That wasn’t that bad the worst part was the brown water coming out of shower and sink. Do not plan to shower or brush teeth here.

Freezing room during cold weather.

The heat was not working. The room was freezing. After I notified the office, I was given an electric heater and a blanket. The heater did not warm the room. It was freezing the entire night.
