When we arrived we learned that the AC in the building was out. I was miserably hot -- menopause is a beast of a thing. The front desk clerk was Nate. Nate was fantastic. He found us a room with windows to the outside instead of facing the atrium and got us all set up so we could have a cool, comfortable room. Nate gets 5 stars 🌟. He was the absolute best part of our stay!

Staff informed us that someone would come look at our room as it was reading 89 for the temperature. Then come to find out the ac is broken and has been for a bit. The rooms were absolutely not clean. At most the beds were clean and made other than that we had food from what looks like little fingers all over the room and bathroom. We did have an issue with housekeeping removing our stuff from the room and stating that we were checked out but we still have 2 days on our stay. Don’t ask for extra towels bc you more than likely won’t get them. The front desk young lady was the most delightful Thing about this place. The manager did what he could to make it better.

Upon arrival I was given keys to a room that was not clean- (All of the pillows and sheets were on one bed in the room and there was still trash left in the room by the previous guest.) The only positive I had about my stay was the employee during the night shift who worked hard to find me a room and even allowed me to go to the hibachi place while he found me a room and then he came and gave me the key and even put my backpack in the room, I’ve stayed here once before and something I noticed is that no matter how low you set the thermostat or turn up the fan it still stays toasty warm in the room, I was not impressed with my stay but Red Lion Gillette had the lowest rates and you get what you pay for, if you’re looking for just a place to sleep and you don’t mind the toasty warm room then this is a good stay.

Feels luxury, but it's very budget friendly. We got a room with a balcony and loved just relaxing and enjoying the view. Breakfast was great, the front desk ladies were great. I was impressed by how fancy everything felt: their waffle maker made waffles with the Red Lion logo, how cool! There was a pool, looked nice. I hope to be back and spend a few days just relaxing at this nice place.

The night desk girl was rude ,the key card maker was broken the whole stay ,so had to leave the door ajar ,the heater didn't work So they gave me a small room heater, if you left they had to walk you too the room to let you in ,but the worst was the check in girl ,threatening to cancel my reservation she said i had a aditude ...a she was the problem very bad the olny reason i gave 2 stars was everyone else was wonderful and the bed was good

This hotel is very amazing the pool was very convenient our room is literally outside of the pool and by the breakfast they have a plethora breakfast options so you have a full breakfast not just cereal. The staff there was always friendly anytime you came in or out they would say good morning good afternoon and ask if I stay was good I love this hotel overall I would recommend it to anybody.
