This is a lovely hotel to stay at. Extremely helpful & friendly staff. The food was plentiful and delicious. We were there for work and had 24 of us there on one night and they managed beautifully. The rooms were great. All the cast & crew enjoyed themselves and have praised the location, hotel, & staff. Thankyou for an enjoyable 4 days.

This is a lovely old building with which I am familiar (40+ years) and is in a great central position with very good transport links. Sadly, the place is looking very tired and is in need of refurbishment. Carpets are looking worn, doors in my room were cracked, windows only open a small distance, wallpaper had lifted away from the wall and furniture was shabby. However, the staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable; I slept really well - which is really what is most important to me when I’m travelling. Price was good but it’s a shame that the building and facilities have deteriorated so much.
