The kokoro landscaped grounds are beautiful. Its a small quiet resort not crowded that needs better up keep. You can tell it has seen better days. The hot springs and pools are better at the other area resorts. Buy a day pass to los Lagos resort nearby. Breakfast was fine. Rooms are large but need maintenance. TV never had a clear reception and had a few Spanish channels. Location was great for area activities. Easy access driving in and out of the property.

Peace and tranquility in a hidden sanctuary.

We were very pleased with the location, staff, and area surrounding Hotel Kokoro. The grounds are so beautifully maintained and it is like a sanctuary. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The meals were very good and we really enjoyed our stay.

Situated in beautiful natural surroundings, woke up one day by howler monkey cries, saw beautiful birds flew by room, watched a sloth moving down the tree while soaking in relaxing hot springs, relaxing massage while listening to nature sound was heavenly. Service was good, comfortable room. The only regret we have is getting sick after having dinner on site.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! You couldn't get a better view of the volcano and the other landscaping is absolutely stunning. The staff was hospitable, patient, and knowledgeable. The food was also delectable and our shuttle drivers found the hotel rather easily, so transport to other places around the island was simple.

Kokoro is a serene and beautiful place to stay, a great hub for enjoying the outdoor adventures of Fortuna. The property has natural hot springs, a lovely pool, and refreshing outdoor dining area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; only the lighting could be better. The staff are so kind and helpful! The location is just outside the hubub of the town, yet convenient to all you could want to do. We highly recommend Kokoro if you are in the Fortuna area!
