Great little spot that exceeded expectation. It’s central enough to be close to all the highlights, but not so close that it’s noisy. The staff were super lovely and helpful, you could message them on WhatsApp any time - and they were very proactive with information and updates. Room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom was perfect. We loved the eco conscious nature of the place - you can really tell they care. The shared kitchen and fridge (+ freezer with ice) was a nice bonus.

It was the most peaceful, beautiful and exceptionally sustainable hotel I’ve ever been to. The staff was super nice the room was beautiful and clean, everything made us feel at home immediately. Thank you, I’ve we're ever in Oaxaca again we will choose this place every time!

Such a beautiful, quainted little place! The location is perfect, the rooms comfortable. We stayed three nights and loved it. The customer service is excellent. The only thing is the bathroom could use a more ventilation, due to the nature of dry bathrooms, ventilation is essential for this kind of bathrooms to be effective against odours. Overall a very good experience, we'd stay again.

A wonderful stay. Behind an imposing black metal gate, a beautiful hideaway a short (5-10 minutes) walk from major attractions - with plenty of dining options in the immediate area. Was hesitate about the waterless toilets, but will assure you, a non issue! The material you place in the bowl after using the bathroom annihilates any lingering odor. I have dealt with much worse with water-base toilets. Follow the directions and you will be fine.As a woman traveling alone I feel extremely safe both on property and in the immediate area. Enjoyed the rooftop lounge and appreciated have the option of having reserved space in the community fridge and access to kitchen items. The staff was warm and helpful, I felt I could approach anyone with a question. They arranged for a extremely early taxi for my flight home, which gave me tremendous peace of mind.An elevated environment and experience for a competitve price. High recommend and plan on returning!

The stay was excellent and I loved the sustainability aspect of the property. However, I was not prepared for the fact that there was no air conditioning during a time when the temperatures exceeded 90 degrees Fahrenheit daily. I probably would have made another choice had I realized that. That said, the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. I also liked the location of the property and felt like I had moved into the neighborhood. It was close to town so the location was perfect. I would recommend this property with the caveat related to air conditioning.
