The staff were lovely (although asleep in hammocks and on chairs most of the time), but unfortunately that was the only real positive. The room was very disappointing. It was dirty, with cobwebs in the corner, polyester bedding, an uncomfortable bed, and a curtain that came off the wall when pulled across. The shower had no hot water, and there was a bucket placed underneath it for reasons that were never clear. The room was also extremely basic. The “wardrobe” was just two hangers on the wall, there was no fridge, no bottled water or drinks provided, and no way to keep anything cool. No toilet paper or basic toiletries such as shower gel or shampoo were provided. The TV was very old, with a large back rather than a flat screen, and the internet went offline frequently. The description also felt misleading. The balcony was simply the corridor outside the door, and the property is not on the beach despite the location suggesting it might be. Overall, the people were kind, but the accommodation was poor, uncomfortable, and not accurately represented, and the local area could best be described as 'trashy'. Can't recommend and would definitely not visit again.
