Felt like a home rather than a cramped hotel room and at huge savings in comparison. Having a washing machine allowed for packing lighter and washed clothes dried quickly in the air-conditioned space. Being a swimmer, the 25-meter and 60-meter lap pools were wonderful. We booked the grand room but it was just average. The property was in a great location, about a 10 minute walk to MOA, some grocery options downstairs, and restaurants. The problems we had were that our host did not send us the authorisation for check-in until the day of (they misplaced our email), some of the furniture was already breaking and not safe to use (couch and chairs) and there was an infestation of cockroaches. The problem about the cockroaches were taken care of with housecleaning providing a spray, but we had small children with us and there was a strong lingering smell that was rough for the kids to handle. Overall, the host was very responsive and the place felt very safe as there was a passcode on the door and security downstairs checking for guests coming and going. For a 3-day stay, it was enough to rest properly before travelling home.
