Check in was great! Super friendly staff. :-) Our rooms were spacious comfortable and clean. Sure it's an older hotel and you can tell back in the day smoking was okay but once you get past that faint odor of the past it was fine. Continental breakfast was good. At the end of the day if you are on a tight budget this is an excellent hotel . When we visit Colorado Springs again we hope there will be a room available at the Olympia Inn. :-D

Room was very large and conveniently located. Bed was comfortable. However my room was on the side with a major road, traffic noise, and a lot of light that was hard to keep completely out of the room. TV was pretty small.

First of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is a bit run-down, although the bed was pretty comfortable. No coffee maker in the room (big disappointment for us). We had a puppy with us, and she had several accidents, despite having numerous pee pads out (we did pay extra for having a pet). In using a towel to clean the mess, it came back gray, indicating a dirty floor. Yuck. The area isn't so great, either. We were treated to two sheriff's cars in the parking lot. Obviously, something was going on we weren't aware of.

New owners are updating the property and have made great strides in improving the rooms and hotel interior and exterior. The price was a real bargain for Colorado Springs near the Air Force Academy. I look forward to staying at this property next time I am in Colorado Springs.

The staff is one of the fendliest I have ever encountered, especially Lindsey. She always had a smile and was eager to help. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Hotel is close to everything, food, gas, shopping and easy acces to the highway. This will be my go to whenever im in town.
