The room was clean and well presented, however the photos do not represent the room we were given. There was a large bed and an Aircon unit (but we didn't need it). There are no amenities. There is no restaurant or bar. But you do get free parking. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The building is not well maintained from the outside but on the inside it's fine. Don't be put off. You get exactly what you pay for - just a room really.

Location is perfect, there is a garage nearby, access to the A 38 is nearby and it resides in a lovely village. I was made to feel very welcome by Erica and her team who were more than helpful. Twin room had plenty of space and a nice shower with loads of hot water. Kitchen is currently being renovated so cannot comment on catering, for what I wanted it was perfect.

Found it strange no staff really on site only saw 2 and one member of staff seem to cover everything from booking in doing the key to cleaning the rooms, but very pleasant and helpful. The hotel seems to be under refurbishment as the bar and food area was all locked up. Think there is alot of work to be carried out. At first i thought i was the only one staying there. Good hotel for a base to stay

The staff were helpful and friendly but we were initially put in a standard twin when we had booked a deluxe double this was resolved quickly. The room was comfortable and clean but was very tired and there was no hot water. Additionally we weren't informed until we arrived that the on site restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment, unfortunatly we can't reccomend it and won't be staying again.

Great hotel to explore the Devon Area.

A perfect hotel, as a base to explore the local area, or if on route to Cornwall. Certainly value for money, and would use again if I needed to. Though there are very little facilities in the local area (Walking Distance) for families, but ideal for somewhere to sleep after days out.
