Not as you would expect for a hotel

Reasonable location. Disappointing facilities - book in closes at 18.00 (no reception after this time) and restaurant closed on Sunday evening. Room comfortable and clean but public areas bleak and unwelcoming.

Our stay was not enjoyable. The lift is archaic & needs to be replaced. The walls in our room were badly scuffed & need cleaning or repainting There was no shower screen so water went all over the bathroom floor & made it very slippery. We were given an attic style room & we continually hit our heads on the sloped ceiling. The reception staff was quite rude as when I telephoned to advise of our arrival time, she was laughing because I could not speak French. There were also other women in the background laughing. This is not a kind thing to do to paying guests.

Initialement nous avions indiqué la climatisation dans le moteur de recherche sur HÔTEL.COM. L’hôtel désigné était dans les premiers proposés. Au final, nous avons une chambre famille ( car 2 enfants de moins de 10 ans ) sous comble 3 eme étage sans ascenseur et sans climatisation. Nous sommes arrivés vers 22h45 et nous avons été accueillis à l’entrée. Nous avons eu la chance de trouver une place de parking à proximité de l’hôtel car nous avons constaté qu’il y avait une fête foraine dans le village. Concernant la disposition de la chambre très spacieuse. La grosse difficulté a été l’absence d’eau à disposition, sauf celle du robinet pas très fraîche et pas de possibilité de pouvoir s’hydrater à l’accueil. Arrivée : Journée canicule. impossible de rafraîchir la chambre ( 28/30 degrés ) pour une journée à 44 degrés. Le seul moyen était d’ouvrir les fenêtres et volets, mais nous aurions été envahis d’insectes. Une moustiquaire aurait palier à ce problème. Nous avons pu utiliser 2 petits ventilateurs présents dans le mobilier pour 4 personnes. La literie est très confortable. Il y a même des couettes supplémentaires dans les armoires au cas où. Par contre il n’y a s’une couette par le lit. C’est soit la couette, soit rien. Salle de douche: bcp de moisissures. La porte de la chambre, un bruit d’enfer digne des films d’horreur. Les autres clients ont apprécié et nous avons dû limiter nos déplacements. Petit dej: envahi par les guêpes en terrasse. Pain choco pas prévus.

Un bon séjour

Très bon accueil. Excellent service au restaurant, ou chose inhabituelle on m'a proposé un vin plus cher au même prix que celui que j'avais commandé car il n'y en avait plus au frais. Petit bémol, clim annoncée alors qu'elle n'y était pas dans notre chambre. Mais la fraicheur heureusement y régnait. Nous reviendrons si nous passons dans le coin.

Un peu déçu: réservé cet hôtel pour ces infos sur le descriptif: ascenseur (car difficultés de marcher) et climatisation. Résultat: ascenseur en panne (chambre au 3eme) et pas de climatisation. Quand j'ai posé la question pour la clim: "nous n'avons pas de clim !".

Chambre confortable. Bon petit déjeuner. Hotel calme. Regrettable que sur 4 nuits la chambre n'ait pas été faite une seule fois, soit disant pour des raisons liées au COVID19. De plus nous n'avons pas été prévenu de ces mesures. Suite à plusieurs séjour en hôtel cet été, c'est le seul qui appliquait de telles mesures.

Un soir à Marvejols

Un hôtel de village sympathique qui, malgré une réception fermée le dimanche, nous a accueilli en toute simplicité (Attention restaurant fermé le dimanche soir) . Chambre épurée mais qui répond aux standards. Petit déjeuner excellent! Personnel accueillant. On reviendra!
