We had a very nice and comfortable stay. The place has a very nice view of river with sunset. The owners are very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. It is equipped with washing machine which is a plus for those on long trips. Location-wise, it is easier for those who drive. We will definitely visit again next time.

This was the best accommodation I have ever stayed at in Japan. Think of this less as a hotel and more as an opportunity to stay in their home and connect with the amazing people of Shimanto. I highly recommend waking up at sunrise to surf and then surfing all day. Afterwards I suggest a long run along the beautiful Shimanto river.

スタッフの対応はとても良く丁寧な接客のうえ、ウェルカムドリンクもあり宿の中にある食器や大型冷蔵庫、洗濯機、炊飯器やトースターから日常生活に必要なものが全て揃っていたため、家族で泊まる際や小さなお子様のいる家庭にはとてもありがたく感じました。また、戸建てということもあり隣を気にせずに子供が騒いでも大丈夫な点から女子会などでも利用する際も良いと思いました。また朝の景色もよく天気が良ければ絶景が見れます。大型スーパーまでは5分程度にあり買い出しも可能な距離ではあるが、駐車場まで行く際には狭い道があるため運転が慣れてない方やファミリーカーなどは注意が必要です。慣れている方は問題なく駐車可能だと思います。虫対策として入り口には蚊取り線香がかけてあり対策されてました。値段で考えると申し分ないくらい素晴らしい宿でありおすすめです。

当日大雨でチェックインが少し遅くなりましたが、支配人様には丁寧にご対応いただきました。また日中電話した際も女性の方にも同様で温かみを感じました。 玄関には蚊取り線香が焚かれてましたが、部屋にも蚊がいて蚊取り線香はあるのですが、容器が無く使用を止めました。外の容器を持ち込めば良かったのか、部屋用のものがあればよいのか迷いました。 また、自身足が悪く座布団に座れないため、丸テーブルと椅子をずっと使用してましたが、材質が木のため水分が付いた容器の底の跡が付いてしまいなかなか拭いても消えないため跡が残り不安になりました。中央にある四角いテーブルのようにコーティングすると木の風情が損なわれるのかと思いますが… 跡が残ってましたら申し訳ないです。 色々書いてしまいましたが、うぐいすの鳴き声が聞けたり、緑豊かで自然を感じられる 閑静な空間を満喫しました。 朝早く出発したため支配人には直接挨拶でき ませんでした。大変お世話になりありがとうございました。
