This place is apparently closing permanently soon so things were in shut-down mode. The attached restaurant/bar was closed, no option for breakfast or a nightcap on site. Check in was simple if you’re virtual/check savvy but there was hardly anyone at the front desk at any point, assuming due to the imminent closure. Room was good though. Clean and relatively spacious. The location itself was secluded and felt very safe and private whilst still being super close (10-15 min walk) to downtown Amsterdam.

Værelset slidt og utrolig dårlig belysning. Skuffer på badeværelset hang i hængslerne, kaffemaskinen virkede ikke og skraldespandene på værelset måtte vi selv tømme. Havde dog ikke bedt om rengøring af værelset, men havde dog forventet at skraldespande blev tømt løbende. Restauranten på stedet er permanent lukket, og receptionen er uden bemanding efter kl. 17. Beliggenhed var super i rolige omgivelser tæt på vand og i gåafstand til centrum.

Great location. Good sized room. Staff were very helpful. Comfortable. Loved the area. The outdoor harbour swimming was fun too. Area had some great places to eat but things were closing down or closed in many buildings. Surroundings and gardens not maintained. No longer a restaurant at the hotel. Liked where we stayed.

The room was comfortable and met our needs. We met a cruise ship, which was a quick walk over to the port from the hotel. The bed and bathroom were adequate for our needs.

Ein nettes Hotel mit wunderbarem Restaurant Kanteen25 daneben. Besonders der Standort ist hervorragend, um zu Fuß in die Stadt zu gelangen und morgens noch eben ein Bad in der offenen Badeanstalt zu nehmen. 😆

It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The only issue was we were offered a welcome drink in the restaurant and when we went to enjoy it we were told it was permanentely closed! No breakfast was frustrating.

Very clean and safe stay. Tucked away from the busy town, this smaller hotel had a safe and quiet neighborhood. The facility was very clean, comfy beds, and very helpful staff. We were able to keep our bags there securely before and after check in/out. Would recommend!

Check in was easy, room was clean and hotel is in an excellent location. A little noisy at night as it’s on a popular canal. We rented bikes and had some issues and the staff was no help at all.

The property itself was fine. I had a fall in the adjacent restaurant that left me with a slight concussion. So needless to say that wasn’t the fault of the Rooms25. I would recommend the hotel for anyone needing a quick couple nights before a cruise. Amsterdam was beautiful.
