An interesting week long stay at voco Stockholm Kista, spoiled by some very poor customer service during our trip. Rooms were fine, and we made regular use of the pool/spa facilities (booked daily through app). Public transport to central Stockholm was efficient, regular and easy to use.
However, we had numerous problems using the restaurant and bar - we only used the restaurant on first evening as very limited menu with many things not available on the day, bar/drinks menu pricing was misleading too (e.g. spirits priced per 10ml measures without notification on the menu, with the bar serving their 'standard' measure as 40ml, i.e. 4x price stated on menu).
We were charged the extra rate for breakfasts on check-in as it had not been included in our booking, but were charged for seven days, despite requesting 6, as we were leaving very early on the last day. I was notified on check-out that it would be refunded, but would take a few days to show on my account. No refund was issued, and after numerous exchanges, by myself and through Hotels.com, the refund was still refused - thankfully Hotels.com made the refund themselves.
All in all, while the stay in Stockholm went well, for future visits, I would not choose this hotel again.
