This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Easy access to the train station and public transit . The staff are exceptional and the hotel is clean and well appointed. The only disappointment were the laundry facilities, hold use an upgrade. Would recommend this hotel.

ALA HOTEL KYOTO was an excellent place to stay during our visit to Kyoto. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained, with comfortable rooms that provided everything we needed after long days of exploring the city. The location was a major highlight, offering convenient access to Kyoto Station and making it easy to get around the city and beyond. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The hotel facilities were impressive, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxing despite being in such a convenient central location. This was the 2nd time I’d stayed at the ALA Hotel Kyoto. This time staying 5 nights to further explore Kyoto, Osaka and the wider region. The ALA Hotel Kyoto is an easy 5 min walk from Kyoto station. So it has excellent transport (bus/coach, local trains and the Shinkansen links to the all the local and regional tourist sights etc. The ALA Hotel also has a very convenient reasonably priced car park next door. The hotel is spotless throughout. From the room, the public areas. To the fitness room and separate Onsen. But the rooms in particular are cleaned daily to a high standard, with daily towel changes if needed. My room had a nice sized comfortable bed and with plenty of space. There is a kettle and a small fridge in the room. The bathroom - washbasin, WC and shower and bath tub are all separate and spotlessly clean. The ALA Hotel restaurant has a great selection of delicious English/American and Japanese foods. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Plenty of choices and refreshed regularly. I used the fitness room which has a range of CV Equipment inc a static bike, an elliptical cross trainer and a running machine. There are also exercise mats. Highly recommended and I hope to return.

LOVED this hotel and stayed for 5 nights. Would definitely stay here again. Easy walk from the station, especially when traveling with luggage. The location was very convenient with 7-11 across the road and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was so comfortable. Beds and bedding were also very comfortable and made for many good nights of sleep. Complimentary water. Modern and spotlessly clean bathroom and toilet. We had a view out to Kyoto tower. Lots of usb ports was very useful. Staff were helpful and we could store our luggage at the hotel until check in. Highly recommend this hotel.
