Beautifully appointed hotel that is centrally located to all of the main sites like El Duomo, the Uffizi, The Accademia , Ponte Vecchio , Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore , Leonardo Da Vinci museum and more as well as steps away from some amazing shopping and restaurants. We walked everywhere. We only took taxi to and from the train station only because we had a extra luggage. The rooms are beautifully appointed and clean. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL and service impeccable. We found everyone we came in contact with to be extremely helpful. They were amazing! We highly recommend purchasing the breakfast option as we found it very convenient and honestly the food options was varied and delicious. We LOVED it here and will definitely be back.

The hotel has done a renovation. The lobby, and public areas still had the old world Italian charm and ambience that would be expected. However, the room redesign lost all charm. Once stepping into the room, I could have easily been at any Marriott or Hilton. Disappointed on that level. Staff were professional, helpful and accommodating. Did have an issue with tickets purchased via the concierge. Guide never showed, tickets were not valid and had to buy additional tickets. Still hoping for a resolution. As this was the 4th stay, and having experienced the redesign of the rooms, the next visit to Florence may warrant consideration of another hotel.
