This hotel was very conveniently located, just a few minutes drive from the supermarket, restaurants, etc. Also, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast is pretty good and the restaurant -for dinner- was great too. We also had to stay an extra night -and stay in a full day- because of a snow storm and we felt secure.

Incredible stay at Hotel Katla! Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Location is very easy to find, and perfect for a driving holiday. We got to see the Northern Lights too! Breakfast buffet was fantastic - loads of options and dietary information was very clear which made our experience much better. Really enjoyed the hot tub & sauna too. It was a shared ammenity, but was never too busy.

Electricity kept going out in our room. We were told by staff that it was "not strong" and to not plug in many devices, however just plugging in our phone to charge tripped the breaker.
