This is a very basic max 3 star resort and property. Thankfully only stayed one night or we would have had to change hotels. The mattress was horribly thin, hard and creaky; thin/cheap linens and blanket. Very basic amenities. Staff are not representative of the 'friendly island' moniker, though with some convincing they improved their customer service. This has always been the case as I used to own a unit across the street in the main property. The upside was the updates to La Tortuga restaurant at the Royal Islander (main property). For $300-$400/night this is waaayyy overpriced. Would rather pay more elsewhere.

Friendly staff. Lovely pool and gardens. Full 2 bedrooms 2 baths and full kitchen and furnished. Great place.

Beautiful pool with the best view of the airport runway to be able to video landings and takeoff. The view is also of Maho beach and you can easily walk to it The furnishings are a little dated, but the cleanliness was top. There are restaurants within walking distance or you can use a well equipped kitchen.

Young man who checked me in at the front desk was exceptional. Extremely professional, courteous and handled all issues with management style. I can’t praise him enough. Power went out in my room minutes after check-in. The electrician showed up in minutes (due to front desk prompt response) and resolved the issue. He is very skilled and wonderful as well. The night staff at the front desk ( she didn’t give me her name) was the worst! Very unprofessional, rude and did not respond an issue I had with a neighbor who had their TV up so loud I couldn’t hear mine or relax to have a quiet evening. The screen to the sliding door was bent and would not stay on track. The only good thing about the is hotel is the location. Yes, there is noise from incoming flights, but that didn’t bother me unlike the blaring TV volume past midnight. Flights eventually stop in the evening. The furniture int the suite wasn’t clear and run down. I wouldn’t sit on the sofa at all. Kitchen not stocked very well. I would not recommend this hotel, but their other one across the street was nicer. This location is not worth the money spent. I will not return unfortunately. The French side is better in my opinion.

Front reception was very friendly and accommodating. They had a special room where we could keep our luggage after checking out. Our flight wasn’t until much later in the day and the staff got us a taxi when we needed to depart. Good recommendation was given for breakfast. I loved the viewing platform to watch the planes. Nice pool area.

Alles sehr sauber !!! Beste Aussicht auf den Flugplatz!!! Was sofort verboten muss ist eure Autovermietung, die Ihr mir vermittelt habt: Value Car Rental!!! Fahrzeuge ohne Reifenprofil! Schrauben halten die Bleche zusammen! Im Kofferraum kann man den Boden sehn sehen! Klima ist undicht, dass man jeden Tag hätte bei denen Frigen nachfüllen hätte müssen um nicht gegrillt zu werden! Fenster gingen überwiegend gar nicht auf!Lebendsgefährlich! Nahezu nichts funktionierte! Wir kamen nur unter spezieller List aus den Fahrzeugen heraus! Habe FOTOS !!! Dann die verlogene Frechheit, dass die Autos von den anderen Vermietungen auch alle so schlechten Zustand hätten!!! Erbitte Geld zurück als Entschädigung für unvorstellbares RISIKO !!! Wie könnt Ihr unter Eurem Namen mich derart in Gefahr bringen! Wir hatten den Schrott überwiegend stehen lassen!!!
