Great Staff, Horrible Food
All staff that we encountered was exceptional. They were all very friendly, kind and very attentive. On the other hand this hotel desperately needs a new cook or new menu. The food was a horror. None of it was good, it had no taste or it tasted bad. They have a breakfast, lunch, dinner buffet and I think their problem is they try too hard. Simple good food goes a long way. We made reservations for their restaurants. The Italian restaurant served bread at the beginning. Sure I thought they can’t get it wrong, I was wrong! The bread was stale, cold, tasteless. The food again was a disappointment. It a great hotel but they need to do better with the food to attract guests to come back. They also have a very cool concept, the light house where they have a 360 view with a bar. The problem is they have a sushi restaurant on the bottom floor and the light house smells like dead fish. There needs to be many changes to this establishment.
