Lovely little hotel, very central to town. We chose the hotel as we were there for a festival at the Spa, it is just a few minutes away from Scarborough Spa. The staff are friendly and very kind. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around, and it's just a short stroll to the beach. The hotel also provides earplugs as the seagulls can get rather loud.

Well located clean and tidy hotel; but the lift (next to our room) was both noisy and antiquated

Almost a home from home, clean room, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast served by friendly staff that couldn't do enough for you.
Also a surprise Easter chocolate gift.
It will be my first consideration when returning to Scarborough.

This is an elegant B&B establishment, situated right in the centre of Scarborough, giving access to beaches and buses, station and shops, as well as restaurants and the renowned SJT Theatre. Despite being an elderly building, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts of a very high standard, with friendly, attentive service. Parking (as everywhere in the town) can be difficult, but loading and unloading is permitted outside the hotel and car parks are within easy reach. A most enjoyable visit which we hope to repeat.

The hotel was lovely, it was a bit dated and the plug for the iron was loose. (Told on departing)
The breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from.
The only thing was the lift, on two occasions we had to use the stairs because someone had left the lift door open which was annoying.

The property was of the time of the victorian era, rooms clean and tidy, staff very nice and friendly, food very good. Only down side was the parking very closely pack in to the point that we didn't think we would get back in. Which I dont think it is there fault. So a 4 and 5 from us.😆

The location was excellent being close to the shops, bars and restaurants but the noise and mess from the seagulls was disappointing to say the least and other properties in the row lowered the tone somewhat. However, we had a pleasant stay although the room was stuffy despite the fan and the window not opening did not help this fact

Grumpy check in. Looked at me like I was a turd on the bottom of his shoe if they had a bar. Not very pleasant at all.
