This is no Hilton. But it's an affordable and cozy place to stay. Walkable distance to 5th av and the beach. If you go to Playa Del Carmen or any of the cities in the Riviera Maya you should be more time outside exploring the beauty of the beaches, cenotes and parks than in your hotel.

I will never know because we were told we would not be able to stay at Hotel Maya Turquesa due to a broken air conditioner and moved to another hotel but this one did not have a swimming pool.

Decent enough for the price

The hotel is not at all as advertised but it IS CLEAN! the bed was very soft and comfortable, albeit there were no covers or blankets only sheets. The day staff were very friendly and helpful, the evening staff were more about hanging out but hey it’s Mexico so I’d probably do the same so no harm, no foul. I didn’t love my room so I checked out a day early but that was mostly because I wanted an actual window. The hotel is centrally located to 5th Ave, lots of places to shop and eat.

The front desk people, except two of them. Were the worst customer attention i have received in a hotel. They don’t care about the customer experience and helping their consumers either. From a small question about parking to invoices requests. They never help.

Nos dieron una habitación que no reservamos de menor categoría y la primera noche no nos ofrecieron otra opción. La gerente nos dio al día siguiente la que correspondía. El baño no fue limpiado correctamente. Al hotel le falta mucho mantenimiento y mejor servicio pues todos los recepcionistas son muy groseros y se ausentan de su área de trabajo. Ni siquiera el saludo responden.
