I checked in on a Wed evening for two nights. I arrived around 8 and there was a lady talking to a customer. He was upset about something not working in his room. She was dressed sloppily and did not acknowledge me for 10 minutes. Her demeanor & unprofessional appearance was not a good start. The ground were very overgrown & not manicured. The paling was nonexistent and many “work” trucks took up many extra spaces. I’ve stayed in dozens of Holliday Inn Express hotels in my 66 years. Other than the room & halls being clean I was disappointed. This particular location has gone downhill in outside maintenance & the workers are all unprofessional (the ones I encountered). It’s hard to get good help these days! There should be a dress code & be nicely groomed to work the check in desk.

Angel was fabulous!! We were greeted immediately. Beautiful room! She got us a room close to the entrance so exiting in the morning was very convenient. Stephen was also great! Had our paperwork ready and thanked us for coming and wished us a great day. They both need a raise!!

Stayed the weekend in handicap accessible room. Spacious and fairly clean but needs a remodel. Bathtub has medium high side with moldy shower seat. Shower head is fixed so no easy way to get water to wash except standing up. No grab bars around tub itself except right near shower head. Impossible to reach the grab bar from sitting position on seat. Some mold above the top of shower surround probably from people trying to adjust the spray. Bottom of tub was slick so seemed risky to use. Some kind of extensible head, more bars, and ideally a shower instead of tub would have been so much better. Ended up skipping showers while we were there. Toilet seemed to have a leak that would cause it to periodically run and sometimes self flush during the night. Fridge seemed to lack Freon since compressor came on loudly off and on constantly whenever temp was turned cooler. TV channel changer only worked when carefully directed at a specific area of the screen. All that said, rest of room was very clean. Beds were comfy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and there was a newly remodeled dining area. Lobby and entry recently remodeled or in process of remodeling so nice arrival area. Parking was easy. Might try it again once remodeling is completed.

We arrive approximately at 10:30 pm and. Checked in. We got in our room to find out that the toilet wasn’t working so we contacted service desk and asked to move to another room. No room with a king bed was available and that she would contact the manager. She also told me that we could use the restroom out in the hall and that another room had contacted her because their toilet wasn’t working either. We were there just to sleep. The next morning we asked to be compensated since our room’s plumbing wasn’t working and we paid $167.00.

Nice front desk staff and friendliness. The hotel was undergoing a big renovation but it did not impact our stay. Quiet overnight.

When making our reservation we looked at past reviews and they were very good. However, many more resent reviews were not so glowing talking about the renovation. We called the hotel, spoke to John, and were told, come for the first night and if unhappy we could have early checkout and would not be charged. We did not leave early and stayed for our whole reservation time. The rooms were clean, large and roomy and beds very comfortable Yes, a renovation is taking place. There were some minor inconveniences but that has to be expected when construction is taking place. We were two couples traveling together, reserved two rooms for five days each. We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the construction workers were helpful, opening doors, moving out of our way and always friendly as we would meet them in the public areas. My whole carrier was in a retail customer service type business. I am very much aware of inconveniences that take place during a renovation as well as construction can be messy with sheet rock dust and saw dust. But the employees, both hotel and construction, were doing all they could to keep it clean and neat. My opinion, the same people complaining about the construction would also complain if the hotel became dated and run down. The remodel will soon be done. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Marble Falls

Hotel is under remodeling. I didnt het a king bed as i had booked.the hall way on my floor was a work area.Ive stayed here several times before and was completely satisfied .But,i think they should notify you you that they are in the middle of remodeling and give you the room style you booked

Property under construction. Told our floor was done but they were doing carpet in our room when we walked in. Everything was dirty. Room tv sleep timer could not be deactivated with the stupid motel remote. Remote set off the fire alarm in our room. People in the next room sounded like there was no wall between us. The remodel was terrible.
