As a solo female traveller, I felt safe with the exceptionally friendly staff who made a point of knowing who I was by name and checked on me every time I went in and out of the hotel. The area itself is not for the faint hearted but I was being picked up for day tours from the hotel door each day so really didn’t bother me and there were lots of lovely restaurants close by. Quirky little hotel and only positive things to say

Litt skummelt strøk den ene retningen, men strålende beliggenhet om man orienterer seg mot Bree, med gåavstand til Kloof street og Bo Kaap. Levende strøk med masse fine barer og restauranter. Minha estadia no hotel foi excelente! O que mais me impressionou foi a cordialidade e o profissionalismo da gerência. ​Um ponto de atenção para quem tem sono leve: existe uma boate/casa noturna nas proximidades que gera um ruído considerável à noite. No entanto, assim que relatei o incômodo, a equipe foi prontamente solícita e me trocou de quarto para uma ala muito mais silenciosa. A partir daí, o descanso foi pleno. ​Além do serviço nota 10, a decoração é ótima, com um estilo clássico e sofisticado que traz muito aconchego aos ambientes.

Amazing staff and service! Room was well equipped, clean and in excellent condition. Great bed. The restaurant isn’t amazing, but plenty of options nearby. And again, the people working in reception and by the pool were absolutely 5 stars!

Zimmer, Matratzen, Bettzeug etc. sind von guter Qualität und das ganze Hotel war sauber. Die Zimmer hatten komplett ausgestattete Kitchenettes, auch die bis zum letzten Löffel sauber. Das Personal rund um die Uhr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Dachpool ist klein und dient mehr der Erfrischung als sportlichen Interessen. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die in einer zentralen und lebhaften Umgebung Urlaub machen wollen!

The staff was great! very friendly made me feel welcome and helped me with any questions or concerns. Housekeeping was an additional plus they were amazing as well. Enjoyed Both restaurants at the hotel including the rooftop pool. Location is super convenient. Can be a bit noisy during certain nights, but they do offer ear plugs. Overall Will stay again.

The room which included full kitchen facilities was very trendily decorated. I enjoyed watching YouTube to relax at night. It was the first hotel in my stay in Africa that offered that. Everything was spotless and the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Great location in the middle of everything.
