However, they don’t offer express pass with a reservation and charge $36/night for parking - those need to change. But overall very pleasant experience and would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Universal Helios Grand Hotel! If Epic Universe is your main focus, this is 100% the hotel you want. The proximity simply cannot be beat, and getting that extra morning hour in the park was a superb perk that made our entire trip run smoothly. Beyond the perfect location, the amenities were a highlight: The Pool: Easily one of the best I’ve ever experienced. I loved the unique shape; the design allows you to lay out and swim at the same time, which is amazing, not to mention the underwater music. Atmosphere & Dining: We really enjoyed the nighttime movies by the pool and the food was consistently tasty. The Views: We couldn't get enough of the park views from the property. It keeps the magic going even when you aren't at the attractions. To top it all off, every staff member we encountered was extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Helios was a great one. From friendly and welcoming staff to the clean rooms. The service was always fast and friendly. Our room was facing the park and what a treat that was. We were able to watch the spectacular light show at night from the room. And you can see the entire park from there. We love all hotels on all the park properties but Helios was very nice because there was no walk or ride to the park. We literally stepped right outside and we were there. If we visit Epic again we will definitely stay there.

Staff was kind and helpful. Hotel was very clean, including the rooms. Our room had an issue with the toilet flushing every 15-20 minutes through the night that was not fixed during our stay and the controls for the lights on the room tablets were clunky and do not alway work. Simply Epic!! Spacious. Cozy. Superb staff. Can’t get a better location for entry to Epic Universe. Get a park view for a park wide perspective. Particularly at night.

The Hotel is beautiful, clean and new. The staff for the most part friendly and inviting. The real issue is structurally. Maybe our $900 a night room wasn’t equipped with real walls. I understand when you come to these attractions hotels most people are excited about getting an early start but when you can hear everything going on in other rooms our outside at 7am is a little discouraging. And maybe I like to break routine on checkout day and wake up maybe at 8:0 or heck even 9 for an 11 am checkout. Impossible when yoir sleep is being interrupted but banging carts out people speaking outside or in the next room. So if you like to sleep till 8am on vacation, “forget about it”.
