Really good room and amenities, especially for the price! The price also includes FREE transfer to Bole ( the airport ). Food wasn't the best I've ever had but still definitely worth it and I would stay again.

Very disappointing experience. My daughter and I had booked a more expensive room with one king-size bed, but when we arrived, the hotel told us that their policy did not allow two women to share a room with only one king-size bed. Because of this, we had to change to a double room, which was actually a downgrade from the room we had already paid for. To our surprise, we were then asked to pay an additional USD 10. We were told that the room change was being treated as a “walk-in,” so a different rate applied. It made no sense to us that we had already paid for a more expensive room, were required by the hotel to downgrade, and then had to pay even more for it. My daughter and I stayed at other hotels in Ethiopia and never came across a policy like this. Unfortunately, this left us with a very negative impression of this hotel.

Terrible experience. We actually had to pay extra for a downgrade. My sister and I had booked and paid for a luxury room with one king-size bed. However, when we arrived, we were told that, according to the hotel’s policy, two women could not stay in a room with just one king-size bed. We were therefore required to switch to a double room. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, although the room we had originally booked was more expensive, we were still charged an additional USD 20 for the downgrade. The hotel explained that the new room was considered a “walk-in” booking, so different rates applied. We did not encounter a policy like this at any other hotel during our stay in Ethiopia. Overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
