This was a GREAT little spot for my daughter & myself to stay for the night before taking a cruise. Very affordable, and conveniently located close to the Carnival cruise terminal (only about $18 Uber to get to the ship). The hotel itself was very upscale and quaint, and also very secure (key code on front door of the property).
The area of town was fairly nice, and there was a great little pizza spot about a block away. We walked to the pizza spot at night, and were not freaked out by transients or sketchy activities at all, which is great if you're here with young kids / family. There was also a grocery store a block away too, which was a huge plus (we got breakfast pastries there for cheap).
The next time I go on a cruise, this is the first hotel I will look at. Five stars, easy!!
