Wat een tegenvaller. Alleen de buitenkant is mooi maar binnen is alles vies en versleten. Personeel achter incheckbalie spreek geen/weinig Engels. 1 versleten/vieze handdoek pp/pd. Douchen kan alleen gedurende een aantal uren. Geen warmwater bij wastafel. Beddengoed vies (bang voor bedwantsen), 1e kamer geweigerd en kregen toen een andere kamer nadat ze gezegd hadden dat er geen kamers meer waren, zogenaamd een upgrade! Kamer gekregen maar meerprijs uiteraard niet betaald. Bedjes bij zwembad te smerig om op te liggen, er zijn geen ‘pool towels’ dus dat moet met die ene handdoek. Ontbijtbuffet wordt niet bijgevuld en voor een eitje moet je in de rij gaan staan.Foto’s op de website komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid! Kamerprijs was aan de hoge kant maar en dat zou geen probleem zijn als de kwaliteit beter zou zijn. Nu is het lekker cashen voor dit hotel.
Geen stoelen op het balkon maar als je een stoel uit de kamer pakt kijk je tegen traliewerk aan.

Front desk staffs could not confirm my payment completion because Expedia had not informed that I have already paid by credit card. They need the confirmation but in vain. We spent more than 1.5 hour at the frontdesk for check-in. Finally I had to agree to pay a deposit till the payment is confirmed. What is worse, it happened on not only me but my colleague. I used an operator chat to solve, whenver I asked them one thing, like "Call to my mobile phone", "Please send e-mail to confirm the payment in Englis", "Please call to the front desk", they alwayreply, "Please wait 15minutes". You should know this hotel located longer than 2 hour drive from city center and it surely let you tired. The time for check in truly damages everyone. Wi-Fi is only at the lobby. Actually they have an Wi-Fi equipment for the guest rooms but they are not working. If you need Wi-Fi, you need to get down to the hotel lobby.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel. They provide free water daily which is nice. The bathroom includes a western style toilet, which is good for me. Hot water isn't available 24 hours a day, so make sure you note the times it's available if you want to enjoy a hot shower. My main concern was that my sheets weren't changed unless I requested it. I had to place my sheets in the hotel provided laundry bag before I received new sheets. The on site restaurant had fantastic food and decently priced as well. The room had an american style plug in the bathroom and european style plugs in the bedroom. I brought my own adaptor, but they have some available on request. Overall, this was a good stay and I would definitely book again.

overall menyenangkan, hanya saja hotel ini tidak memiliki lift. akan lebih baik jika ada lift sehingga memudahkan bagi orang tua. apalagi hotel ini memiliki 3 lantai, cukup melelahkan bagi orang tua untuk naik turun 3 lantai. Excellent Hotel with Staff to Match

From the time we checked in until our departure, the staff was uniformly friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful. The hotel is in excellent condition, the room generous, and the breakfast a feast. The only negative is that the WiFi did not serve the room, and we needed to go into the hallway or lobby for service. Other than that, the hotel can be recommended without reservations.

Pleasant hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Not all spoke English but then I don’t speak Indonesian yet we still understood each other. No hot water at certain times and when it did, not a lot of pressure, and no internet in rooms, only in public areas. Meal portions were a bit small. Room service was quick. Could do with a folder in the rooms outlining what’s on offer and what to see and costs. Pretty good value though as it didn’t cost the earth.

Spacious Room, Wonderful Scenery & Great Breakfast

We enjoyed our stay at Sinabung Hills Berastagi. The room that I booked is so spacious (Superior Room). It could fit another 1-2 guest & you can request for the extra bed with reasonable price (it comes along with the breakfast buffet). There's no elevator here but it's not a problem to me (I believe it is due to its location that isn't far from volcanic Sinabung mountain). There's a wide selection of breakfast buffet, suits my taste. The hotel overall ambiance is great and the views are breathtaking. We even get the chance to watch the eruption of Mount Sinabung - It's an amazing sight & opportunity for me. Due to that, some area of the hotel especially the garden is covered with ashes (the hotel staffs work really hard to keep the place as clean as possible, we saw them cleaning & sweeping). Oddly, me & my family enjoyed experiencing this (however stay indoor during the eruption to prevent yourself getting caught with the ashes or dust. Keep your window closed to prevent the dust from getting inside your room). The room service is great, I ordered a meal at night. We'll definitely stay here if we come here again.

Nice hotel with great scenery

It was a good stay for the price we paid. Thought it will be good if the staff could at least bring some assurance to hotel guests when.slight earthquake happened.
